For PC users
1. If you're seeing issues with drag-and-drops not being recognized After updating iTunes, TuneUp can lose the ability to communicate with iTunes. The easiest way to resolve this is to uninstall iTunes and then reinstall iTunes from the Apple website: Please also uninstall TuneUp and reinstall: http://www.tuneupmedia.com/Redirect/winDownload 2. If TuneUp isn't showing up next to iTunes Does moving or resizing the iTunes window reveal TuneUp docked to the right hand side of iTunes? 3. If TuneUp is reporting your firewall is blocking TuneUpDater.exe Disable any firewalls (including the Windows built-in firewall), proxies and antivirus software temporarily to see if that resolves the issue. We changed the updater name from updater.exe to TuneUpDater.exe to make it clearer that it is part of TuneUp when you get firewall warnings. Can you run the file manually? (C:\Program Files\TuneUpMedia\updater\TuneUpDater.exe) If at any point you're feeling frustrated, please contact support (http://tuneupmedia.com/support) with your situation and we'll work to answer your questions as soon as possible. For Mac users Please make sure you're running TuneUp 1.5.9.1 or later: For Mac (10.5 Leopard + 10.6 Snow Leopard) http://www.tuneupmedia.com/Redirect/macDownload For Mac (10.4 Tiger) http://www.tuneupmedia.com/Redirect/macTigerDownload Any issues with iTunes 9 compatibility are resolved in TuneUp 1.5.9.1 or later. If the above suggestions fail to resolve your issue, please contact support (http://tuneupmedia.com/support) we'll answer your questions as soon as possible. |
